Copilot

Copilot is the assistant built into the console. It can see your projects and make changes for you, so you can ask instead of clicking through pages.

Open it from the panel on the right of any page, or go full screen at Copilot in the sidebar. The sidebar's Copilot menu has New chat, Usage and Recent chats. Hover a recent chat to delete it.

What it can do

Look things up

• Projects, project settings and API keys.
• Usage, cost and billing.
• Requests: search your logs, or open one request by ID.
• Security incidents.
• Memory: stats, and searching what's stored for a user.

Make changes

• Create or revoke API keys, rename one, or limit which models it may call.
• Change the monthly budget, spend cap and budget alerts.
• Turn failover on or off, and choose the provider and model to fall back to.
• Mark a security incident as reviewed, with a note.
• Delete a memory.
• Build and set up agents. See Build agents with Copilot.

Copilot asks before every change. The change shows above the composer with what it will do, and nothing happens until you confirm.

Files and images

Attach with the paperclip, or drag and drop onto the chat.

• Text files: up to 5 per message, 100,000 characters each. Logs, CSVs, configs, code and docs all work.
• Images: up to 3 per message (PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF). Screenshots of an error or a dashboard work well. If the chosen model can't read images, another model describes the image first and Copilot answers from that description. Saved chats keep the description and a small thumbnail, never the image itself.

Pricing

Each organization gets free Copilot questions every day (UTC). Small talk like "thanks" doesn't count.

Past the free questions, each answer is billed to your credits at the model's cost plus $0.25 per million tokens. Copilot → Usage shows cost and messages per day over 7, 30 or 90 days.
